Inspiring Meeting at Gazi University
Our founder and design director, Enes KAR, met with aspiring young designers at the 4th Design Days organized by the Gazi University Design and Innovation Society in Ankara.
Welcomed with great interest and enthusiasm by the students, the event provided a warm and engaging atmosphere for the exchange of knowledge and experience. Enes KAR shared Kardesign’s design vision and industry experience with the participants, offering valuable insights for their professional journey. The organizational skills, energy, and hospitality demonstrated by the Gazi University students were truly commendable.
In the first part of the talk, the core steps of the product design process were discussed in detail. From technical analysis, form and market research to sketching, 3D modeling, engineering, and prototyping, the full industrial design process was shared with the audience. The session continued with an exploration of how innovative design approaches are developed, illustrated through award-winning Kardesign projects such as Fibermak, Burgo, and the TMEA Actuator. Demonstrating how theoretical knowledge transforms into practical, tangible products proved to be highly inspiring for the students.
In the final part of the presentation, an interactive discussion was held on the future of product design, focusing on the transformative impact of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. The students’ interest in these topics and their thoughtful questions once again revealed how conscious and visionary the new generation of designers truly is.
